Our annual Staff Awards & Gala Dinner were held on 23 August, recognising the skills, professionalism and dedication of our staff throughout 2009/10. A major part of the Vikings Group accomplishments are directly attributable to our staff and I take this opportunity to congratulate those who were recognised on the evening and to thank all of the staff for yet another year of committed service.
The value continues throughout our dining venues with the return of Sunday Roast Lunches at Kutas for only $6! Gingers at Vikings has prepared a special menu for Father's Day that's sure to please every man's taste and Benhams at Vikings Chisholm have launched their new lunch menu this month. Gingerbread Café is also helping Members kick start their day with an Earlybird special - 2 for 1 coffees from 7:30am to 9am, Monday to Friday.
The Member Movie Club continues this month on Thursday 23 September with "Wall Street". Representing great value at only $10 a double pass, tickets will be available from Vikings Town Centre from Monday 6 September. Movie Meal Deals are also back at Gingers at Vikings Town Centre so pop into Reception for full details.
Congratulations to our lucky member who claimed the $32,000 Midweek Madness Badge Draw in August. Be sure to not miss out on your chance to win each Wednesday and also on Sunday evenings for the Lucky Badge Draw - simply by being a member and present at a Vikings venue during the draws.
Free live entertainment continues throughout our clubs, ranging from Karaoke on Thursday nights at VP3, through to Rock at Vikings Lanyon every Saturday evening. The great line-up of touring artists at The Auditorium continues as well as the Dinner and Show series. Dorothy the Dinosaur hits the stage this month so be sure to come and join in the fun for the young, and young at heart.
As previously stated, our Members can be confident that we will continue to strive to present value in our services and facilities in an atmosphere of comfort and friendliness.
