Canberra Model Yacht Racing

The Canberra Model Yacht Club (CMYC) was established to foster the sport of radio controlled yachting, catering for all people interested in the sport, both social and competitive.

The CMYC welcomes all people from novices to competitive sailors, both male and female. Juniors are encouraged to participate in the activities.

The CMYC sails regularly on Sundays and has two venues, Bowen Park Kingston and Lake Tuggeranong. Activities usually get under way around 9.00am in summer and 10.00am in winter and dependant on weather conditions conclude between 3.00pm - 4.00pm.

The CMYC has a full program throughout the year conducting some championship events on Lake Tuggeranong. During March each year the club conducts a bridge to bridge weekend during the Canberra Festival activities.
