Tuggeranong Valley Band

The Tuggeranong Valley Band is a community band that welcomes new comers of all ages. You don't have to pass an audition to get in - you just need a love of, and an ability to read, music.

We have two bands, an Intermediate Band for those just starting out, to build confidence and skills, and the Concert Band who perform all of our public shows. We cover a wide repertoire, from jazz to classical to show tunes and movie themes.

The Tuggeranong Valley Band regularly plays at events around Tuggeranong and across Canberra, and is now looking for new members, especially percussion, trombone, tuba and horn players.

REHEARSALS

The Band rehearses every Thursday night during school terms at the Uniting Church at Erindale, on the corner of Comrie Street and Sternberg Crescent. The Intermediate Band rehearses from 6pm to 7.30pm, the Concert Band from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Playing with the Tuggeranong Valley Band is a great way to improve your musical ability and to get involved in the community.
