Sponsorship Application

The Vikings Group believes in supporting the community that supports them. The Vikings Group currently provides sponsorship assistance to over 150 charities, schools, community groups, sporting teams and businesses throughout the ACT and Capital Region.

By providing financial support each year in community sponsorships, The Vikings Group also takes a hands-on approach by investing time, resources and expertise into important community initiatives. This includes organising and working at events and generating publicity amongst our membership network.

The Vikings Group is also able to provide in-kind sponsorship rather than direct cash support through:

  • Club dining vouchers (to be used at any of our 4 venues) for raffle prizes at community events
  • Bus hire
  • Marquee hire
  • Room hire at Vikings Group venues


Application Process
The Community Committee convenes to assess all proposals that meet the community donation criteria. Written correspondence will take place upon the conclusion of the consideration process. The Vikings Group receives a large number of requests for sponsorship and unfortunately the number of applications will always exceed the funds available. Worthwhile programs cannot be guaranteed support regardless of merit.

Timing
Please allow up to six (6) weeks from the time of submission to allow us to process your request.

If you are applying for sponsorship, please ensure that you submit your request at least three months prior to your event or activity
