Dog Training

Tuggeranong Dog Training Club

Tuggeranong Dog Training Club (TDTC) commenced operation in February 1995 to address the need within the Community to provide training for dogs. Training is used not only to train a dog to walk nicely on lead, but also provides instruction to handlers on how their dog may take its place as a member of our community.

TDTC provides a graduated training program, which allows dogs and their owners to progress at their own speed. Levels of training comprise:
Puppies from 3 months:  Level 1 (dogs with no training); Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Legal 5.

On successful completion of Legal 3 classes, owners are awarded an Obedience Trained Dog Lead.

Other activities conducted by the Club include: Agility, Flyball, Noseworks, and Tricks, including a Demonstration Team which participates in local fetes to promote the Club and its activities.

Training is currently offered on Tuesdays from 7.00 pm and Sundays from 9.00 am and is held on Club grounds at Rowland Rees Crescent, Greenway.
