Privacy Policy

The Vikings Group is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988; the Act contains 10 National Privacy Principles that set standards for the handling of personnel information. 

Any personal information provided by Members and guests to Vikings Group (e.g. name, address, date of birth and contact details), including information collected as a result of; using the Vikings Group Vikings Rewards app, facial recognition (FR) in-venue or inserting/swiping/scanning a Membership Card in a gaming machine or any other device that is linked to our Member loyalty program, Vikings Rewards that may provide a benefit or service, will be protected.

The Vikings Group will not disclose your personal information to a third party unless there is a contract in place or a legal requirement to do so. Information may be provided to a third party that provides services under contract to the Vikings Group, these contractors are obliged by law to keep and maintain this information confidential and secure. The Vikings Group may disclose personal information to relevant authorities if they believe there is a life, health, or safety, or public health or safety threat. The Vikings Group may use CCTV and FR technology systems to collect images for security and public health purposes. If there is reason to suspect that unlawful activity has been, is being or may be engaged in, personal information may be provided or disclosed as a necessary part of any investigation to relevant persons or authorities.

Vikings Group Vikings Rewards app collects location data to reward patrons for using our services even when the app is closed or not in use. A Member or guest may turn location services off in their settings if they wish to opt out of this feature of the app.

As a Vikings Group Member, financial and non-financial, you consent to the use and disclose your personal information to Vikings Group. This personal information may be used by the Vikings Group for the internal purposes of; marketing or to provide and improve services. Members may opt out at any time if they do not, or no longer, wish to receive marketing and promotional material. This may be done at Reception, via e-mail or in writing or where applicable, by clicking the “unsubscribe” button. 

As a Member, you have the right to access any personal information that Vikings Group may hold about you, including the right to correction about that information.
