The four Wimbledon synthetic grass tennis courts, located at Town Centre Vikings are available for hire.
Non-Social Tennis Club Member Rate
$10.00 per hour – daylight rate (8 am - 6 pm)
$20.00 per hour – night-time rate (6 pm - 10 pm)

Social Tennis Club
Vikings Social Tennis Club Incorporated (VSTCI) was formed in July 1996 for members of the Vikings Club seeking a competitive but purely social tennis game without fixed commitments. The Club is based at the four courts adjacent to the Town Centre Vikings on Athllon Drive, Greenway. A pre-condition of VSTCI membership is to be a current financial member of Vikings Group.
The VSTCI holds regular year-round social tennis sessions at the Town Centre Vikings tennis courts (except for bad weather and Vikings Group operational requirements). The Club also conducts occasional Social Competitions in a mixed Round Robin Doubles format with many participant prizes. The clubhouse notice board has details of social tournament dates. The clubhouse pavilion is also facilitated with a toilet and basic kitchen facilities.
Membership Fees:
Single $50
Family membership $75
Please note, you do not have to be a member to play on the court. Guests may book the courts through Town Centre Vikings by visiting Reception or calling 6208 6300 or can join in and play organised social tennis. Costs of hiring courts are detailed below.
Annual membership renewal is always due from 1 July each year.
Social Tennis Sessions:
Tuesdays 9 am – 12 pm & 7 pm – 10 pm
Thursdays 7 pm – 10 pm
Fridays 9 am – 12 pm
Sundays 9 am – 12 pm
Social tennis sessions are FREE for both VSTCI Members and guests and no bookings are required.
Social tennis sessions are doubles games, with players of all levels encouraged to attend. There are no restrictions on numbers and players will be responsible for managing the session, within some broad guidelines.
Outside scheduled session times, current VSTCI members may book court hire at reduced rates through Vikings Town Centre reception or via the booking request form provided above.
Covid Requirements:
VSTCI abides by the COVID-19 rules and guidelines currently in place by the ACT Government and Vikings licenced clubs.
