Town Centre Vikings is entering an exciting new chapter, with a major redevelopment that will transform the club into a vibrant, contemporary destination for the Tuggeranong community.
More than a renovation, this redevelopment reimagines what a club can be — an inclusive place where sport, community and hospitality come together. Designed to feel warm, welcoming and connected to place, the renewed Town Centre Vikings will create more ways for people to gather, relax, celebrate and enjoy great experiences together.
Construction will officially begin on early April. The redevelopment will be delivered in stages while the club remains open, with new spaces opening progressively from late November 2026.

The design honours the club’s history while introducing a contemporary hospitality experience that feels both fresh and familiar. Natural materials, warm lighting and modern finishes reflect the club’s connection to the surrounding landscape and create an atmosphere that is welcoming, relaxed and enduring.

A welcoming new arrival
A new central entry, covered drop-off area and bright reception space will create a welcoming first impression and make it easy to move throughout the club.
Dining and social spaces
Members and guests can look forward to a refreshed bistro, café, lounge bar and outdoor terrace overlooking Urambi Hills — creating more opportunities to gather over good food, coffee and drinks.
A lively sports and entertainment experience
A new sports bar with large screens, TAB facilities and pool tables will offer a vibrant place to watch live sport and enjoy time with friends.
Bowling for every season
The redevelopment includes a new undercover synthetic bowling green and upgraded bowls facilities, creating a welcoming social hub for bowlers, members and social groups year-round.
Flexible spaces for celebrations and community events
New function spaces will be designed to host everything from meetings and celebrations to corporate events and community gatherings.
Easier access throughout the venue
Improved parking, pedestrian flow and clear navigation throughout the venue will make arriving and moving through the club easier and more convenient.

What to expect during the redevelopment
Town Centre Vikings will remain open throughout the redevelopment.
As construction gets underway from early April, members will notice some changes across the venue. This will include the temporary closure of the downstairs area and a reduced bistro offering for a period of time.
There may also be temporary changes to parking availability, venue layouts, capacity in some areas, menus, promotions and raffles while works progress.
Our team will work hard to minimise disruption and keep members informed every step of the way, with regular updates shared in venue, online and through member communications.
