There has been a change to our management team at Town Centre Vikings

As synonymous as Town Centre Vikings is with Lawn Bowls, Tennis and a great feed – our new Town Centre Venue Manager, Mick Peel is just as well known for having a laugh! So we have sent him over to Town Centre to bring some more fun into the venue for all our patrons and staff.

Mick has been with the Vikings Group for 7 years and has worked primarily across Town Centre and Erindale Vikings. Mick has a booming voice and a laugh that will ring out across the bowling greens – he is looking forward to having a very positive influence on the atmosphere around Town Centre.

“Hospitality as a career naturally attracts smart, outgoing, vibrant, fun people. I reckon I tick all those boxes! My focus is on customer service, working with our staff so they are empowered and have initiative around engaging with our patrons, but also to have some fun at work. Townie is a great place – people should come down and check me out. I mean it, the club, check the club out!”

“In all seriousness, we attract people who love the industry. We want to have fun at work, we want to have fun with our customers and we want people to think of us as their first choice for dinner, parties, nights out or, of course, for some Lawn Bowls!”

When asked about his lawn bowling ability, “I’ve got some skills! I can bring it. But maybe not tennis, unless it’s indoor with a table . . . .”

Mick would love to hear your thoughts on Town Centre Vikings, be sure to check him out when you’re next visiting.
