Meet Brodie Maguire - 2024 Recipient of the Peter Webb Memorial Scholarship

The Peter Webb Memorial Scholarship was established by the Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union and Sports Club in recognition of Peter Webb’s commitment to the young people living, studying, and playing sport in the Tuggeranong Valley.

This scholarship rewards excellence in both sporting and academic achievement and is designed to assist recipients with the cost of furthering their education.

We’re excited to share an update on our 2024 scholarship recipient, Brodie Maguire.

Brodie recently completed her first year of a double degree in Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Finance at the Australian National University (ANU).

Now, heading into her second year at university, Brodie continues to balance her academic pursuits with her love of sport. She remains a dedicated member of the Tuggeranong Netball Association and plays across several touch football teams.

A standout highlight from earlier this year was her selection to represent the Wollongong Women’s Touch Team at the State Cup Tournament, where the team delivered a strong performance and took out the win.

The Peter Webb Memorial Scholarship has supported Brodie in pursuing both her educational and sporting ambitions. We’re proud to back such a driven and inspiring young leader, and we look forward to seeing all she achieves next.
