Tuggeranong Vikings Basketball Club

The Tuggeranong Vikings Basketball Club was formed in 1984 and caters for Juniors and Seniors.  In recent years we have seen our numbers increase to over 250 players comprising of 30 Junior and 7 Senior Teams (includes Social Mixed) and growing.

The Club develops and promotes the game of basketball in the Tuggeranong Valley, and facilitates the community to participate and enjoy basketball.  This is achieved by creating an environment that promotes enjoyment and good sportsmanship, opportunities for players and coaches to progress in the sport, maintaining standards acceptable to our community and keeping the focus on fun.

Vikings Basketball and Basketball ACT have a range of programs on offer to assist people involved in our sport both on and off the court. These programs are available to players, coaches, managers, officials, parents, administrators and more.

Vikings basketball has been active in working with the Club to build recognition of both our name, and the Vikings Group throughout Canberra.  We were involved in the communities at work activity over the summer holidays and were regarded as one of the outstanding activities in the program.

Committee Members are here.
