Tuggeranong Dog Training Club

Tuggeranong Dog Training Club (TDTC) is a Not-for-Profit organisation which has operated since February 1995. It was set up to address the need for obedience training for dogs and handlers and is run entirely by volunteers.

Training & Membership

The club provides obedience training and dog sports classes for fully vaccinated dogs from the age of 3 months. The Club offers affordable 12 months memberships which also includes access to exercise areas out of class times.

TDTC offers a graduated training program, which allows dogs and their owners to progress at their own speed over 5 levels of training. Training initially focusses on training a dog to walk nicely on lead and to develop good social skills, and progresses to more advanced skills such as walking off-lead.

Classes & Schedule

Obedience classes are held twice a week, Sundays from 9am and Tuesday evenings from 7pm. Sessions comprise 8 weeks of training and we offer 5 sessions over the year.

In addition to obedience training, the club offers the following classes for dogs who meet the entry/age requirements:

  • Agility

  • Flyball

  • Rally

  • Scentwork

  • Tricks

Classes are held on the Club grounds conveniently located at Rowland Rees Crescent, Greenway.
