Cook for a Cause: Thank you Tuggeranong

Supporting our local community is at the heart of what we do.

As part of Cook for a Cause, a ClubsACT initiative uniting Canberra clubs for a worthwhile cause, we’re proud to have played our part in donating over $1,600 to the Canberra Hospital Foundation.

The Canberra Hospital Foundation is a registered charity raising funds for specialised equipment and important research, helping make spaces less clinical, and providing therapeutic programs and comfort items for patients and their loved ones.

Generous donations from the community help support patients at any age, from babies to the elderly and everyone in between, with any illness, from those having treatment for cancer or chronic illness, to those recovering from injury, or those people nearing end of life.

From July through September, clubs across Canberra served up something special, a meal made with heart. And the best part? For every dish sold, $2 went directly to the Canberra Hospital Foundation.

The Vikings Pizza Parmi quickly became a crowd favourite, and thanks to your support, it became more than just a meal—it became a way to make a difference.

Over the course of Cook for a Cause, Vikings venues sold a total of 831 Pizza Parmis, resulting in a donation of $1,662.

Every dollar raised will help transform hospital experiences for local patients and their loved ones, ensuring care and comfort when it matters most.

From all of us at Vikings, thank you to everyone who dined with purpose.

When Clubs and Members come together, we create a lasting, positive impact on our community.
