ACT Pickleball
Background
Pickleball ACT is the official association for pickleball in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Established in 2018, the organisation has grown significantly, incorporating as a not-for-profit entity in 2021. Their mission is to provide a welcoming environment for pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, offering regular play sessions, competitions, and social events.
Pickleball ACT operates out of The Pickledome, located at 56 Coyne Street, Fadden, ACT. This facility features eleven indoor courts with a cushioned tennis surface, allowing play regardless of weather conditions. They offer a variety of sessions throughout the week, including introductory classes for newcomers, social play, and competitive events. Pickleball ACT also has locations in Belconnen and Gungahlin.
Membership with Pickleball ACT provides benefits such as public liability insurance, access to sanctioned tournaments, and reduced fees for certain events. Non-members are welcome to attend up to three sessions as guests before being encouraged to join.

Training Schedule
Pickleball ACT runs 18 sessions a week over 3 locations. These sessions are offered over 7 days a week from 9am to 8:30pm. Sessions range from beginners to experienced. Beginners/Introduction and social sessions are available three mornings a week, two lunchtime sessions, three eventing sessions and one Saturday afternoon session.
