We’re looking for a Qualified Chef to bring creativity, leadership, and heart to the Vikings kitchen. Bring style, vision, and drive to the kitchen. As a Qualified Chef, you’ll take charge of the kitchen, deliver fresh ideas, and craft food that keeps people coming back.
Lead and mentor a team, develop menus, and be part of a community that values creativity and quality.

What you’ll bring
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a professional kitchen, ideally with recent club or hospitality experience.
Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum requirement).
Skills: Strong time management, multitasking, and communication skills.
Flexibility: Availability to work across seven days, including weekends.
Team-oriented: Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Calm under pressure: Able to deliver quality food while meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
What you’ll be doing
Food preparation and presentation: Deliver high-quality dishes, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence.
Menu contribution: Assist in menu design, costing, and implementation to bring fresh and creative ideas to life.
Stock and inventory: Manage stock levels, ordering, and control to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Team mentorship: Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Food safety compliance: Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are met across the kitchen.
