Peter Webb Memorial Scholarship
The Peter Webb Memorial Scholarship was founded by the Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union and Sports Club in recognition of Peter Webb’s commitment to the young students living, studying and playing sport in the Tuggeranong Valley.
One scholarship, valued up to $10,000, is awarded annually. Payments are distributed each semester, provided the ongoing eligibility criteria are met.
Eligibility criteria for the Peter Webb Memorial Scholarship
- Be an Australian citizen and play a sport with a Vikings affiliate team 
- Be enrolled or intending to enrol at a Canberra-based university or a similarly accredited institution 
- Commence their first undergraduate degree within 2 years of completing year 12 
- Provide evidence of ongoing participation in their chosen sport at a national or international level 
Applications are now open for 2026. Applications close on Friday 31 January 2026.

Joseph Leuii
Joseph is a familiar and respected figure at the Vikings Rugby Club, with a rugby journey defined by years of dedication, perseverance, and leadership. Joseph is the Vikings Colts Captain.
Brodie Maguire
Brodie is a dedicated member of the Tuggeranong Netball Association and plays across several touch football teams. She played in the Wollongong women’s touch football team at the State Cup Tournament.
Ebony Brunt
Playing ice hockey in Canberra since she was young, Ebony played for our national Under 18 women’s team and played in the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics.
