This criteria-based funding helps athletes who have been chosen to represent the ACT, or higher, in their chosen field. Vikings Group provides up to $8,400 in funding which assists local Tuggeranong Valley athletes.

So that our young athletes can pursue their chosen sport as well as their education, we have been offering scholarships for the past 28 years. In 2019–20 we were able to sponsor 49 athletes.

We offer financial support to affiliates clubs to increase their revenue stream by purchasing additional assets for their club.
Funding for projects
In 2019-20, 21 affiliated clubs were able to access this assistance for a number of projects including:
An electronic starting system for the Calwell Little Athletics Club
80 new footballs for the Lanyon United Football Club
Two new marquees to use at club events for the Tuggeranong Vikings BMX Club
New teardrop banners for the South Canberra Tuggeranong Athletics Club
For each club, Vikings Group is also able to provide complimentary:
Room hire across our clubs for meetings, functions, fundraisers and training
Event equipment including marquees, eskies, trailers and AV equipment
Vikings Group community bus hire
Administration and marketing support (printing, flyer designs, website promotion, in-venue advertising)
Vikings Group has developed the reputation as the ‘Home of Amateur Sport in the Tuggeranong Valley’ with a total of 51 affiliated sporting and social clubs, representing 33 different sports and activities.
